| Another theory about the Bermuda Triangle is the theory
of underground gas leaks that would cause ships to sink and airplanes to fall into the
ocean. Sometimes natural gases have an acid-like property, so if a ship or plane was
exposed to enough of the gas, it might sink or fall from the sky into the ocean. In
a jet's case the gas could go through the engine and blow up the jet, but on a prop plane
or a boat it would just slowly eat away at its hull. There are many natural gas leaks under the ocean, but most of them are very small. There could be a giant gas leak in the Sargasso Sea, but it would have to be very big to cover the whole Triangle. (The Sargasso Sea is in the center of the Bermuda Triangle.) The theory of gas in the Bermuda Triangle could be a real danger to all things if it is true. Some people are very serious about it. But the mystery in the Bermuda Triangle lives on… |
