The White Nile

Here you will learn about the White Nile, a section of the Nile River.  It is famous for its remarkable steady flow.  The river is 500 miles (805 km.) long, and it furnishes 29% of the Nile’s total volume.  The White Nile joins the Blue Nile at Khartoum.  The river begins near Malakal at the confluence of the Sobol Bara`l-Jabel River.  Part of the White Nile flows into Lake Victoria, and some flows into Lake Albert.  The White Nile extends to the tributaries of Lake Victoria.
