In the 70’s, kids in California created a new bike and a new sport -- BMX biking.  BMX means Biking Motorcross Extreme.  In 1977 races were formed.

BMX biking can be a sport for all ages from age 6 to over 16.  At this web site, you can learn about courses, scoring, tricks, safety, clothing, cruisers and other facts.
